1988 Honda NT650 Hawk "F2 Front End Mod"
In January, 2008, I decided to complete the modifications to our 1988 Honda NT650. The NT650 has always been a fun little naked sportbike and fantastic for those starting out in riding. Since my daughter has not shown any real interested in riding on the street, we decided to turn the NT into another track bike. There is also a slight possiblility of this motocycle being raced in the "Battle of the Twins" in AHMRA.
What to do with the NT to make it safer for the track? One, it needed better brakes. Two, better suspension wouldn't hurt. So I did some investigating and found a "Bolt-on" mod to place a CBR600F2 front forks, wheel and brakes on the NT650.
